Skadden is representing Kinetic Concepts, Inc. in its $6.3 billion acquisition by a consortium of funds advised by Apax Partners, together with controlled affiliates of Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and the Public Sector Pension Investment Board, announced on July 13. Kinetic Concepts is a global medical technology company that develops, manufactures and markets therapies and products for the wound care, tissue regeneration and therapeutic support system markets.
