Skadden is representing Outokumpu, the Finnish-based stainless steel manufacturer, in a business combination involving the $3.5 billion acquisition of Germany's ThyssenKrupp's stainless steel unit, announced on January 31. The combination will create a leading global stainless steel manufacturer with approximately $15.5 billion in projected sales and 19,000 employees.
