Fourth Circuit Revives Trademark Case for Rosetta Stone Against Google

Skadden represented Rosetta Stone in securing the reversal of a summary judgment order dismissing its trademark infringement claims against Google, in which Rosetta Stone contends that Google’s advertising program and conduct create brand confusion and dilution. In a unanimous ruling, on April 9, a panel for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit reversed the lower court's decision, allowing Rosetta Stone's case to proceed.
