Skadden secured a trial victory on behalf of SanDisk in a case brought by Kingston Technologies alleging federal antitrust and California and Wisconsin unfair competition claims. On March 27, 2012, Judge Barbara Crabb of the Western District of Wisconsin entered judgment in SanDisk's favor following a trial in November 2011, finding there was no evidence the challenged license terms had or would have an adverse effect on the USB flash-drive market.
