BOSTON, MA – September 5, 2012 – Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP announced today that corporate lawyer Graham Robinson has joined the firm as a partner in its Boston office.
Mr. Robinson joins Skadden from another global law firm, where he was a partner and chair of its corporate practice. He focuses on mergers, acquisitions and other transactions in the health care and technology industries in the U.S. and internationally. He also regularly represents both private equity funds and hedge funds on a wide range of matters.
"Graham will be a terrific asset to our firm and the Boston office," said Peggy Brown, head of Skadden's Boston office and its Boston Mergers & Acquisitions Group. "His breadth of knowledge and experience in the health care and technology sectors will be of tremendous value to our clients."
"Skadden's longstanding reputation as an industry leader — as well as its global reach and wide array of practices — is unmatched," said Mr. Robinson. "I am excited about the opportunity to work with such a talented group of attorneys."
Mr. Robinson is a member of the board of directors of Project Step, a nonprofit organization that seeks to provide musically talented children from underrepresented Boston communities with instruction and resources to succeed as classical music professionals. In 2011, the Boston Business Journal named him one of its “40-Under-40” business and civic leaders. Mr. Robinson also is listed in the 2012 edition of Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business and Best Lawyers in America. A graduate of Harvard Law School, Mr. Robinson received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
