Alpha Bank in Talks to Acquire Crédit Agricole’s Greek Unit

Skadden is representing Alpha Bank in connection with its exclusive negotiations for the acquisition of Emporiki Bank of Greece S.A., a subsidiary of Crédit Agricole, S.A., announced on October 1. The proposed transaction is valued at €3 billion.
