Skadden secured a dismissal with prejudice of a securities class action against Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc. asserting claims in connection with the company's role as a sales agent for DryShips Inc.'s common stock. On November 6, Judge Rodney W. Sippel of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri granted Merrill’s motion to dismiss the complaint and denied the plaintiffs’ request for leave to amend.
