Financial Times/mergermarket European M&A Awards

For the second time in three years, Skadden was named the "Legal Adviser of the Year" for Russia and CIS at the sixth annual European M&A Awards in London on Dec. 12, 2012, sponsored by the Financial Times and mergermarket. Among other areas, the firm was recognized for its telecommunications industry work, including representing Altimo in its acquisition of an additional stake in VimpelCom. This award marks the fourth consecutive year Skadden's Russia practice has received top M&A honors from the legal and business press.
