Skadden Receives International Tax Review Awards

In recognition of innovative client work, Skadden received two awards at the annual International Tax Review Americas Awards on September 26. The firm was named "Los Angeles – Tax Firm of the Year" and also received the "Technology & Communications Tax Deal of the Year" award for its work in advising Sprint Nextel Corporation. Skadden served as lead counsel in Sprint's $21.6 billion merger with SoftBank, while simultaneously representing the company in the $3.8 billion acquisition of the portion of Clearwire Corp. that Sprint did not already own.
