Skadden was named "Americas Firm of the Year" at the annual International Financial Law Review Americas Awards on March 27, 2014. The firm also was named "M&A Team of the Year" (for the second consecutive year) and "Restructuring Team of the Year." In addition, IFLR recognized Skadden with "Restructuring Deal of the Year" and "Equity Deal of the Year" awards for its role in the restructuring of Central European Distribution Corp. and the initial public offering of Biosev S.A., respectively. In total, Skadden was nominated for 14 awards and took home five — more than any other firm.
