Vocus Defeats Injunction of Deal With GTCR

Skadden secured the denial of a preliminary injunction motion filed in the Delaware Court of Chancery by a stockholder of firm client Vocus, Inc. who sought to enjoin GTCR, LLC's tender offer for Vocus shares. On May 15, Vice Chancellor Travis Laster essentially rejected all of the plaintiff's price, process and disclosure claims, ruling that there was no likelihood of success on the merits of the claims and no threat of irreparable harm.
