Skadden ranked third in "Legal Expertise" — the category that measures a firm's ability to provide innovative service — in the 2015 Financial Times "Innovative Lawyers" report for Europe (October 2, 2015). Skadden was the only firm ranked in the top three for "Legal Expertise" in each year from 2013-15. In 2015, we ranked seventh overall, with three "Standout" rankings and three "Commended" rankings in the Client Service, Corporate and Commercial, Finance, and Social Responsibility categories. Skadden was the only firm with three rankings in the Corporate and Commercial category, giving us the highest combined score in that category of any firm for both originality and impact. London partner and English law practice head Michael Hatchard was shortlisted for "most innovative individual."
