Skadden won a motion to dismiss an action brought against Ryan Kavanaugh by RKA Film Financing, LLC asserting that it had been fraudulently induced to loan money to Relativity Media LLC, of which Mr. Kavanaugh served as CEO at the time. On March 6, Justice Charles Ramos of the Supreme Court, New York County, concluded that the plaintiff had failed to plead fraud with the requisite particularity and granted dismissal with prejudice of all claims asserted against Mr. Kavanaugh.
