On April 24, Skadden secured a dismissal with prejudice in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin on behalf of Anheuser-Busch in an antitrust complaint brought by Mountain Crest, a U.S. brewer seeking to import its beer into Ontario, Canada. The company brought suit against defendants Anheuser-Busch InBev SA/NV and Molson Coors in 2017 under Sections 1 and 2 of the Sherman Act, claiming that defendants unlawfully conspired to impede Mountain Crest’s ability to sell its beer in the province.
