Skadden Expands Structured Finance Capabilities With Addition of Harlyn Bohensky as Partner

Skadden is pleased to welcome Harlyn Bohensky to the firm as a partner in its Finance Group, based in the New York office. Mr. Bohensky brings more than two decades of experience advising leading borrowers and lenders, issuers and underwriters, originators and servicers, and other major financial institutions on a wide range of structured finance transactions and securitizations.

Mr. Bohensky joins Skadden from another global law firm, where he counseled clients on complex structured transactions, including forward flow acquisitions and financings, warehouse financings, acquisition financings, public and private issuances of asset- and mortgage-backed securities, and securities and mortgage repurchase facilities. His practice encompasses a wide range of asset classes, including credit card receivables, secured and unsecured personal loans, residential mortgage loans (including reverse mortgage loans and home equity lines of credit), trade receivables, student loans, equipment loans and leases, auto loans and leases, device payment plan agreements (cell phone contracts), small balance commercial loans, servicing advances, servicing rights and excess servicing fees, reflecting a broad and sophisticated understanding of the structured finance market.

Mr. Bohensky has been recognized by Chambers USA, IFLR1000 and The Legal 500 U.S. for his work in structured finance. He earned his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.
