Washington, D.C. corporate partner Brian Breheny and government enforcement partner Colleen Mahoney participated in PLI’s 44th Annual Securities Regulation Institute held in New York and also via webcast. Key industry players addressed the current state of securities, financial regulation and corporate law and practice, and shared their unique insights and experiences to offer practical strategies and solutions in the form of best practice. As in prior years, Ms. Mahoney co-chaired the program, which commenced with her opening remarks. Mr. Breheny moderated a panel titled “Minding Your Knitting — Ongoing Disclosure and Compensation Challenges.” The panel addressed, among other things, the Dodd-Frank Act and other new SEC disclosure requirements, current compensation disclosure and design developments, and compliance challenges when using company websites and social media.
