Essentials Seminar 2013 — “Essentials of the Corporate Secretarial Function”

Washington, D.C. corporate partner Brian Breheny participated in the Society of Corporate Secretaries and Governance Professionals' 2013 Essentials Seminar on “Essentials of the Corporate Secretarial Function.” The three-day program covered fundamentals of corporate governance and the role of the corporate secretarial function in public companies, private companies and nonprofits. The event was designed for both new and experienced governance professionals to learn practical solutions on how to handle the responsibilities of the corporate secretary's office. On January 31, Mr. Breheny moderated a panel discussion titled “Regulation & Disclosure Basics for Public Companies.”
