Washington, D.C. corporate partner Brian Breheny participated in the 2013 Securities and Finance Law Seminar Series sponsored by the New York City Bar Association and the Alliance of Securities and Financial Educators (ASAFE) for diverse students attending New York City-area law schools. The six-part seminar series gathered leading legal and compliance practitioners to discuss issues and developments in securities and finance law. The event was designed to enhance diversity and inclusion in the securities and finance industries of traditionally underrepresented groups. On February 1, Mr. Breheny spoke on the regulation of corporate finance matters under the U.S. securities laws.
