U.S. Taxation of Mergers & Acquisitions

On December 3, New York Tax Group head Stuart Finkelstein spoke at "U.S. Taxation of Mergers & Acquisitions," a Bloomberg BNA-sponsored seminar held in Houston. Mr. Finkelstein led a "Review of Recent M&A Transactions," a panel discussion that focused on such topics as developments in tax-free spin-offs, cross-border acquisitions and financings, innovative tax-free reorganizations, special distributions and partnerships in M&A. The program also was presented in Chicago on October 9.
