Washington, D.C. corporate partner Brian Breheny participated in the 2014 Securities and Finance Law Seminar Series sponsored by the New York City Bar Association and the Alliance of Securities and Financial Educators (ASAFE) for diverse students attending New York City-area law schools. The six-part seminar series gathered legal and compliance leaders to discuss cutting-edge issues in securities and finance law and business. The seminars are designed to promote diversity and inclusion in the securities and finance industries of traditionally underrepresented groups and to increase the groups' competitive strengths. On April 11, Mr. Breheny spoke on the topic of the regulation of corporate finance matters under the U.S. securities laws.
