Los Angeles corporate restructuring partner Van Durrer spoke at the 22nd Annual Southwest Bankruptcy Conference held September 4-6 in Las Vegas. Mr. Durrer moderated a panel discussion on financing strategies, focusing on typical and atypical issues in the context of negotiating a term sheet, a debtor-in-possession (DIP) agreement and a DIP order. The discussion included DIP terms from the perspectives of various types of DIP lenders, such as prepetition creditor(s) (or a subset of such creditors), insiders and stalking-horse bidders.
