Washington, D.C. tax partner Paul Oosterhuis spoke at "International Tax Issues 2014," a PLI seminar held September 10 in Chicago. Mr. Oosterhuis participated in a panel discussion on "Cross Border M&A Planning," focusing on acquisitions of foreign targets; acquisitions of U.S. targets with foreign subsidiaries; acquisitions of U.S. targets by foreign multinationals; Section 367 and 7874 developments; and maximizing the use of foreign cash to fund acquisitions.
