Brussels antitrust and competition partner Ingrid Vandenborre moderated a panel discussion hosted by the University of Chicago’s Alumni Law Society Washington, D.C. chapter and Skadden, "Hot Topics in Antitrust Law, Competition and Global Economics," held April 15 in our Washington, D.C. office. The panel explored the economic, regulatory and ethical impacts of antitrust legislation on corporate actions in both domestic and international markets. It also highlighted best practices for legal practitioners in advising corporate clients toward regulatory compliance while balancing organizational objectives, strategic initiatives and competitive activities. Speakers  included University of Chicago professors Kevin Murphy, Randal Picker and Robert Topel; Covington & Burling partner Deborah Garza; and Judge Douglas Ginsburg of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
