Society of Corporate Secretaries and Governance Professionals Southeastern Chapter Annual Meeting and Conference

Washington, D.C. corporate partner Brian Breheny participated in the Society of Corporate Secretaries and Governance Professionals' Southeastern Chapter Annual Meeting and Conference, in Atlanta. Presentations included a “State of the Society” update and an interview with SEC Division of Corporation Finance Associate Director Betsy Murphy. The conference also focused on SEC hot topics (including pay ratio, pay for performance, hedging and clawbacks), shareholder activism from the activist perspective, and shareholder engagement trends and tips. On October 1, Mr. Breheny participated in a panel discussion titled "The Four Horsemen Cometh (and Other SEC Updates)."
