New York M&A partner Ann Beth Stebbins joined a panel discussion December 17-18 in New York on "Securities Law Aspects of Mergers, Acquisitions and Other Corporate Transactions" at PLI's "Understanding the Securities Laws Fall 2015." The discussion focused on how the federal securities laws are triggered, cash versus stock consideration, mergers, third-party tender offers, issuer tender offers and going-private transactions, and fairness and other "expert" opinions. Ms. deBeers spoke at the Chicago installment of the seminar, held October 27-28.
