Ms. Ralph participated in a panel discussion, "Tax Corner — Untying Gordian Tax Knots in REIT Deals," focusing on the impact of IRS Notice 2015-59 and Revenue Procedure 2015-43; REIT mergers and acquisitions; spinoffs of and by REITs; REIT conversions, opco/propco splits and spinoffs; and proposed regulations to clarify the definition of "real property."
