New York M&A partner June Dipchand and Chicago corporate counsel Craig Alcorn spoke at PLI’s “Understanding the Securities Laws 2017” on September 27-28 in Chicago, respectively. Ms. Dipchand and Mr. Alcorn each participated in a panel discussion titled “Securities Law Aspects of Mergers, Acquisitions and Other Corporate Transactions,” which focused on how federal securities laws are triggered, cash versus stock consideration, third-party tender offers, the interrelationship with state corporate laws, and issuer tender offers and going-private transactions. They also spoke at PLI’s “Understanding the Securities Laws 2017” on July 13-14 in New York.
