On December 7, Washington, D.C. litigation partner Anand Raman participated in a panel discussion titled “Redlining and REMA” at the Louisiana Bankers Association’s 2017 Bank Counsel Conference. The panel discussed risk issues relating to redlining in mortgage and small business lending. The speakers also addressed the relationship between reasonably expected market areas (REMAs) and banks’ assessment areas under the Community Reinvestment Act.
