On January 23, Skadden and Alliance Advisors presented a seminar in New York titled “Preparing for the 2018 Proxy Season: What You Need to Know.” The program focused on important matters companies should consider as they prepare for the 2018 proxy season, including proxy access, executive compensation, CEO pay ratio disclosure, shareholder proposal trends, voting policy changes from proxy advisory firms, board composition and trends, and other trends in corporate governance.
