Chicago tax partner David Levy and Boston tax partner Moshe Spinowitz spoke at the University of Chicago Law School’s 71st Annual Federal Tax Conference on November 9-10. Mr. Levy, who served on the conference’s planning committee, moderated a panel exploring inequities created or exacerbated by the annual accounting concept, with special focus on the impact of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. Mr. Spinowitz participated in a panel discussion addressing the Global Intangible Low-Taxed Income (GILTI) and Foreign Derived Intangible Income (FDII) rules.
