On December 6, Skadden presented “Practical Approaches to Equal Pay Audits,” the fourth and final of several webinars focused on pay equality. The panel addressed the overall mechanics of performing an equal pay audit, including how to prepare data, data privacy challenges and legal privilege protections. The speakers also discussed options for reacting to the results of an audit, including organizational best practices and structural changes to consider going forward. Skadden panelists included global labor and employment head David Schwartz and partner Karen Corman and executive compensation and benefits partner Erica Schohn. Tom McMullen, a senior client partner at Korn Ferry, also joined the discussion. Mr. Schwartz, Ms. Schohn and global executive compensation and benefits head Regina Olshan were organizers of the webinars.
