Global executive compensation and benefits head Regina Olshan and partner Erica Schohn participated in “Hot Issues in Executive Compensation 2019,” a PLI seminar held September 11 in New York. Ms. Olshan was co-chair of the seminar and participated in a panel discussion titled “409A Pitfalls and Mastering Corrections; Tax Developments,” which focused on IRS Section 409A pitfalls, approaching corrections and technical issues, and the latest developments in tax law and tax reform. Ms. Schohn participated in a panel discussion titled “SEC and ISS Developments,” which focused on Securities and Exchange Commission action on hedging; environmental, social and governance criteria and gender pay gap disclosures; shareholder activism; Institutional Shareholder Services’ recent and anticipated policy updates; the interplay of risk oversight and compensation; and the future of long-term incentive plans.
