Washington, D.C. international tax of counsel Paul Oosterhuis spoke at Taxation of Financial Products and Transactions 2022, a PLI program held on January 10. Mr. Oosterhuis participated in a panel discussion titled “Financial Products Tax Planning for Multinationals in the Post-BEPS Era,” which focused on internal and external leverage after the OECD BEPS 1.0 actions, the impact of TCJA reforms, and cash pooling and FX hedging after recent legislative and regulatory changes, as well as the potential implementation of OECD/Inclusive Framework Pillar 2 proposals.
