Post-Election Issues and Considerations

On November 16, Skadden hosted the webinar “Post-Election Issues and Considerations,” which addressed special legal issues that typically arise from contributions to state and local transition committees and inaugural events, as well as contributions surrounding recounts and special elections. Topics included the types of considerations for employees entering or leaving government, a variety of transition and inaugural expenses, how to handle contributions during special elections and issues regarding lobbying disclosure (LD-203). Skadden speakers included Washington, D.C. political law counsel Melissa Miles, Charles Ricciardelli and Tyler Rosen.
