On November 3, New York intellectual property and technology counsel James Talbot participated in Practicing Law Institute’s annual Understanding the Intellectual Property License conference. Mr. Talbot discussed various software issues in licensing, including source code versus object code licenses; representations, warranties, indemnities and audit rights; key open-source licensing concepts and terms; and license and open-source compliance strategies.
