On March 27, tax controversy and litigation partner Kat Gregor participated in PLI’s Nuts and Bolts of Tax Controversy 2023 program. Ms. Gregor explored how to handle an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) audit, including a chronological overview of the audit process, ways to streamline IRS information gathering, strategic considerations for successful audit resolution and ways to posture unagreed issues for favorable resolution in the administrative appeals process or in litigation.
