On October 17, Skadden and KPMG Japan co-hosted a seminar at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Tokyo focused on key topics and recent life sciences M&A developments. The program included an opening address, four panel discussions, closing remarks and a cocktail reception. The event’s topics covered trends in the development of pharmaceuticals and medical devices in the U.S., digitalization, key differences between listed and private companies, and conditional payout schemes.
