ABA Section of Taxation 2025 May Tax Meeting

On May 8-10, Washington, D.C. tax partner Loren Ponds, of counsel Scott Vance, Boston litigation counsel Mary Grinman, and Washington, D.C. tax associates Garrett Brodeur and Stefane Victor joined various panels and a plenary session during the American Bar Association Section of Taxation’s 2025 May Tax Meeting in Washington, D.C. The speakers discussed U.S. tax sovereignty, employee benefits litigation, the intersection of administrative law (including the nondelegation doctrine) and tax, the effects of recent IRS changes, current developments in tax accounting, and recent changes in tax policy.
