The New Era of Taxation

On September 12, Washington, D.C. tax partner David Farhat spoke on the panel “Transfer Pricing: Key Audit Risks and Best Practices for Disputes Prevention and Resolution” at the International Bar Association’s The New Era of Taxation event in Milan, Italy. The panel covered key audit triggers and risk areas flagged by tax authorities, such as intangibles, intra-group services and financial transactions. The speakers also addressed strategies for dispute prevention, including robust documentation, advance pricing agreements and cooperative compliance, as well as tools for dispute resolution.
