On March 25, antitrust/competition partners Bill Batchelor (Brussels) and James Fredricks (Washington, D.C.) participated in the 74th annual Antitrust Spring Meeting, hosted by the American Bar Association’s Antitrust Law Section and held in Washington, D.C. Mr. Batchelor spoke on the panel “AI, Algorithms and Antitrust — Enforcement Trends,” where he offered guidance on “enforcement and litigation trends relating to collusion, merger review and market power.” Mr. Fredricks served as a panelist on “Hybrid Relationships: Cartel or Collaboration,” where he explored the antitrust challenges involved in agreements between “parties that have both vertical and horizontal relationships,” as well as supplied tips for counseling clients in this area.
