On March 10, Washington, D.C. tax of counsel William Alexander spoke on the panel “Introduction to Consolidated Principles and Definition of Affiliated Group” as part of the Practising Law Institute’s Practical Guide to the Consolidated Tax Return Regulations 2026 program. The panel covered the fundamentals of consolidated return theory and principles, including the benefits of filing a consolidated tax return, eligibility requirements and the definition of an affiliated group.
