On June 16, the New York office hosted its fourth annual asset management tax controversy and dispute resolution forum in partnership with KPMG. The forum examined a range of tax-related developments, including IRS enforcement, Self-Employed Contributions Act cases and other litigation matters, and assignment of income and constructive receipt doctrines, among other topics. Boston tax partner Kathleen Gregor served as a co-chair of the event, and Skadden speakers included tax of counsel Elizabeth Askey (Washington, D.C.) and counsel Benjamin Lucas (Washington, D.C.) and Elizabeth Smith (Boston).
