Certainty Counts: Tax Policy in a Competitive Global Economy

On June 3, Washington, D.C. international trade head Brooks Allen participated in the Certainty Counts: Tax Policy in a Competitive Global Economy conference, jointly hosted by the Tax Foundation, University of North Carolina Tax Center and Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management. Mr. Allen spoke on the panel “Understanding the Costs of Uncertainty With Tariffs & Trade,” where he discussed the current landscape for trade policy and how decision-makers are navigating the new environment of significantly higher tariffs and rapid trade policy pivots.
