Skadden Discusses Blowing the Whistle Under EU Law

Partners Ryan Junck and Elizabeth Robertson and associates Margot Sève and Jason Williamson take a look at the Whistleblower Protection Directive, which was adopted in 2019 by the European Parliament and the European Council and sets a minimum standard for the protections EU member states must provide to whistleblowers. With only six months until the December 2021 deadline by which member states are required to introduce national legislation to implement the directive, companies operating in the EU should ensure their policies and procedures are compliant with the new regime.
