F. Joseph Ciani-Dausch

Mr. Ciani-Dausch’s practice spans both the technical requirements of HSR compliance and the strategic antitrust counseling required as part of complex mergers and acquisitions, enabling him to advise clients throughout the entire transaction life cycle. He regularly advises on domestic and cross-border transactions, guiding clients through complex filing requirements and exemptions, preparing and managing HSR filings, and representing clients before the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and Department of Justice (DOJ).

Mr. Ciani-Dausch regularly collaborates with the firm’s M&A attorneys across offices, providing strategic antitrust counsel on complex domestic and cross-border transactions. He also regularly coordinates simultaneous, multijurisdictional merger reviews in collaboration with the firm’s attorneys around the world, with experience in matters involving regulatory authorities in the EU and Asia.

In addition, Mr. Ciani-Dausch has extensive experience counseling clients on distribution and pricing matters, including minimum advertised price (MAP) policies and supply arrangements. He regularly advises clients in the private equity, health care, food distribution, financial services, energy, professional services, media and technology sectors.
