Niklas Haas focuses his practice on advising corporate clients and private equity firms on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions.

Mr. Haas’ significant representations include, among others, advising:

• United Talent Agency (UTA) on its acquisition of European soccer agency ROOF Group GmbH, UTA’s largest M&A transaction to date
• BlackRock on its acquisition of Preqin at an enterprise value of £2.55 billion
• TSG Consumer Partners and Backcountry on the sale of Bergfreunde GmbH, a Germany-based online retailer of premium outdoor apparel and equipment, to DECATHLON S.E., the world’s largest sporting goods retailer
• Trimble on its €1.9 billion acquisition of Transporeon, a leading cloud-based transportation management software platform, from Hg
• JAB Holding Company S.à r.l. on the acquisition of AGILA Haustierversicherung AG from Aegidius Rueckversicherung AG
• Gulf Energy Development Group on the disposal of 50.01% of its stake in €3 billion offshore wind farm Borkum Riffgrund 2, representing a 25% interest in the project, to a joint venture of Singapore-based Keppel Infrastructure Trust and Keppel Corporation Limited, and the related joint venture agreement between Gulf and Keppel
