Bio
Caroline J. Huber advises clients on all aspects of EU, German and international competition law, including merger control, cartel investigations, antitrust compliance matters and the Foreign Subsidies Regulation. She has been involved in several high-profile matters requiring international antitrust merger control approvals in Europe and around the world, including Phase 2 reviews in Germany.
Since joining Skadden, Ms. Huber’s experience includes advising:
- Scopely, Inc. on its acquisition of a majority stake in the Turkish development studio behind “Pixel Flow!”
- UniCredit Bank AG on an appeal before the European Court of Justice against the European Commission’s findings in relation to an alleged cartel concerning European government bonds
Prior to joining Skadden, Ms. Huber worked in the Frankfurt office of an international law firm, where her experience included advising:
- Active Ownership Capital in connection with Formycon AG’s acquisition of the biosimilar candidates FYB201 and FYB202 from ATHOS Group and various other acquisitions
- ARKANCE, a subsidiary of Monnoyeur, on its acquisition of VinZero
- Galaxy on the planned formation of AllUnity, a joint venture with Deutsche Bank fund subsidiary DWS and trading house Flow Traders
- Keensight Capital on several acquisitions, inter alia its investment in aconso AG, Quanos and Onventis
- Nooteboom Textiles, a Bencis portfolio company, on its acquisition of Hemmers Itex
- Stantec on its acquisition of ZETCON Engineering
