Bio

Aled Luckman advises clients on a broad range of corporate matters, with a particular focus on cross-border public and private M&A, as well as corporate finance transactions. He also regularly advises clients on corporate governance, reorganisations and other strategic corporate matters.

Mr. Luckman’s experience since joining Skadden includes advising Visa, Inc. on its $2.4 billion acquisition of BioCatch, a fraud intelligence provider, among other representations.

Prior to joining Skadden, Mr. Luckman’s representations include:

  • Asurion on its £2 billion acquisition of Domestic and General plc
  • Ingredion on its £2.7 billion recommended takeover offer of Tate & Lyle plc
  • Barclays Bank on its £600 million acquisition of Tesco Bank
  • ASSA ABLOY on its acquisition of InVue
  • Exodus Movement Inc., a Bitcoin and wallet provider, on its $175 million acquisition of Monavate and Baanx via W3C Corp
  • the U.K. government on the proposed £3.6 million takeover of Royal Mail by EP Group
  • Goldman Sachs on its investment in Revolut and Mews
  • Zopa Group on its acquisition of the AI-powered payments platform Rvvup
  • DCC plc on the sale of its majority stake in its Hong Kong and Macau liquid gas business
  • Supponor on its sale to Bruin Capital-backed TGI Sport
