Joshua G. Rabon
Joshua Rabon represents a wide range of clients on international tax matters arising in cross-border restructurings, mergers and acquisitions. He also regularly advises clients regarding legislative and regulatory proposals related to international tax provisions.
Bio
Before joining Skadden, Mr. Rabon was an attorney in the IRS Office of Associate Chief Counsel (International), serving as the principal drafter of several regulations, including one for which he received the IRS Chief Counsel Award for research and writing. In addition, he handled requests for private letter rulings and provided legal advice to the IRS on international tax topics.
In recognition of his work, Mr. Rabon has been repeatedly selected as one of Best Lawyers’ Ones To Watch in America, in addition to previously being named an Associate To Watch by Chambers USA. Mr. Rabon is a frequent speaker on international tax issues and has been published in Tax Notes International. He formerly served as an adjunct professor of law at Georgetown University, teaching advanced international taxation.
