Bio
Mr. Salzer has worked with clients across a diverse range of industries, including health care, manufacturing, consumer products, life sciences, food, aerospace and defense, financial services, office supplies and professional services. He regularly represents clients before the U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Trade Commission and state antitrust authorities.
Examples of Mr. Salzer’s representations include:
- Centene Corporation in several transactions, including its acquisition of WellCare Health Plans and its sale of Magellan Rx to Prime Therapeutics
- CF Industries in its acquisition of Incitec Pivot Limited’s ammonia production complex located in Waggaman, Louisiana, and related assets
- DuPont in the sale of the majority of its Mobility and Materials business to Celanese
- Essendant in its acquisition by Staples
- Mars in its pending acquisition of Kellanova
- SP Plus in its acquisition by Metropolis Technologies
- Rockwell Collins in its combination with United Technologies
- BlackRock in several transactions, including its acquisition of Global Infrastructure Partners and its pending acquisition of HPS Investment Partners
- Dicerna in its acquisition by Novo Nordisk

Mr. Salzer also represents clients before antitrust agencies in a variety of investigational contexts. Additionally, he provides general antitrust counseling on a range of day-to-day business issues, including competitor collaborations and unilateral conduct.
